Saliendo de Mercurio retrógrado y después de la luna llena. Ooh qué fabuloso.
Saludo desde un café en Bogotá. ¿Cómo estás tú hoy?
Esta es una nueva etapa de mi viaje, y estoy dichosa de compartirla contigo, ¡bienvenidx!
He estado trabajando en… mi práctica artística.
Este podría ser un correo muuuy largo, pero hoy no es el día. Hoy se trata únicamente de invitarte a mi mundo y celebrar la vida compartiendo mi trabajo contigo. Hay bastante que decir sobre mi camino y el mundo en el que estamos viviendo a medida que pasa el tiempo. Dejemos que haga lo suyo, ¿no crees? El tiempo es el más sabio. Avancemos juntos orgánicamente y siguiendo la diversión. Excepto para eliminar los combustibles fósiles.
¿Qué tienen en común Hilma af Klint, CreativeMornings Bogotá, y la aleatoriedad del internet?
La espiral.
Fue central en la obra de Hilma af Klint, quien se esforzó en retratar lo Invisible. El conferencista de noviembre en CreativeMornings, Juan Diego Cruz-N.E.P.E.S.T, se refirió al autodescubrimiento como una espiral en la que el crecimiento consiste en ir hacia el interior en dirección hacia el propio centro. Es un perpetuo retorno al mismo punto equipado con nuevas perspectivas. La inesperada publicación en una red social fue una espiral enfatizando la no-linealidad de la vida, y cómo la existencia nos hace replantearnos constantemente lo que creemos entender y ver verdades más profundas.
Todos los encuentros con espirales ocurrieron en la misma semana.Carl Jung hubiera estado orgulloso. La geometría de la evolución y el desarrollo resuena profundamente conmigo. Mi vida es una progresión continua hacia mi verdadero yo, permitida por el desprendimiento expansivo y cíclico de ideas falsas y aprendidas sobre quién soy. Descubrir y aceptar mi lugar auténtico en el mundo ha sido un proceso de sustracción, no de adición.

AI final terminan perdiendo su poder, ¿no? Todos continuamos brillando, como la Luna y las estrellas y el Sol.

This could be such a looong email, but today’s not the day. Today is solely about inviting you into my world and celebrating life by sharing my work with you. There’s much to say about my path and the world we’re living in as time unfolds. Let’s allow it to do it’s thing, don’t you think? Time’s the wisest. Let’s move forward together organically and following the fun.–Except for phasing out fossil fuels.
What do Hilma af Klint, CreativeMornings Bogotá, and internet randomness have in common?
The spiral.
It was central in Hilma af Klint’s work where she endeavored to portray the invisible. November’s CreativeMornings speaker Juan Diego Cruz-N.E.P.E.S.T spoke about self-discovery as a spiral in which growth consists in going within toward one’s own center. It’s a perpetual return to the same point equipped with new perspectives. The unexpected social media post was a spiral emphasizing life’s non-linearity, and how existence is constantly revisiting what we think we understand and seeing deeper truths.
All encounters with spirals occurred within the same week.Carl Jung would’ve been proud. The geometry of evolution and development deeply resonates with me. My life remains an ongoing progression toward my true self permitted by the expansive, cyclical shedding of false, learned ideas about who I am. Discovering and embracing my authentic place in the world has come by way of subtraction, not addition.
In the end, they end up losing their power, no? We all shine on, like the Moon and the stars and the Sun.
